Outreach Project's mission is "To empower individuals, families and communities to make choices which will enable them to experience a responsible life free from alcohol and other drug abuse".We currently operate programs in Queens, Brooklyn and Long Island. Please visit our website: www.opiny.org for additional information on our program services.We are currently seeking a part time Van Driver for our outpatient substance abuse treatment program in Bellport, Long Island. This is a part time position consisting of 10 hours per week, from 8 AM to 10 AM, Monday through Friday. The van driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and implementation of transportation services. The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:1.Insure transport of client to treatment services;2.Assist supervisor in developing and coordinating transportation routes in order to facilitate same and time transport of clients;3. Maintain appropriate licensure and driving record;4.Report any incidents/accidents to immediate supervisor and administrative office, where appropriate;5.Complete monthly reporting requirements on van mileage, gasoline receipts, maintenance and client safety.QUALIFICATIONS:Must have clean and valid NYS driver's license. Must be geographically familiar with Suffolk County. Must be available from 8 AM to 10 AM, Monday through Friday.This position is located in Bellport, Long Island.
