The individual in this position will not be linked to one office or facility. This is a liaison position between several locations in you area. The selected candidate will make their own schedule. It is not a position where you sit behind a desk all day answering questions on the telephone. This position is part of a nationwide team of people that love what they do which is in part due to working with a fantastic management team. ResponsibilitiesThe experienced professional in this position will educate patients on the best plan of care as it relates to managed care and governmental programs. Clear understanding of health insurance coverage and COB periods, (i.e., Cobra, Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid), as a result of experience in working for a provider of healthcare services, (not an insurance company). RequirementsCandidates considered for this position must have worked for a provider of care, not an Insurance Company. They must be experienced and successful in communicating effectively with patients and exhibit excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a must. Clear understanding of health insurance coverage and COB periods, ie: Cobra, Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid, working for a health care provider / hospital; not an insurance company.
