Ultrasound Technologist -WMH/Pool
Job Description:
HOURS: Pool as needed. The hours will be primarily on 1st and 2nd shift and will vary depending on the changing needs of the department.
DUTIES: Perform Ultrasound procedures as ordered by physicians. Prepare patient exam records as directed. Maintain efficient operation of all equipment in order to preserve its effectiveness. Assist physician and radiology nurse in procedures as needle biopsies, amniocentesis, etc.
REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiological technology having passed or be eligible for the appropriate certification exam, and have adequate on-the-job training or be a graduate of an approved Ultrasonography School. Board certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) and is a member in good standing.
