Ultrasound Tech II Magee Womens Hospital of UPMC is seeking a full-time OB/GYN Ultrasound Tech II to work in our Ultrasound department on a 40 hour varied work week schedule.  In this position, you will be expected to utilize independent judgment and a comprehensive understanding of ultrasound applications, anatomy, and physiology.  You will be responsible for performing a variety of technical ultrasound procedures for the purpose of assisting in the patients’ medical diagnosis.  You will utilize ultrasound instrumentation for the performance of procedures demonstrating knowledge of equipment operations, applications and scanning techniques resulting in optimized image data/documentation.  You will obtain appropriate image documentation of cross-sectional anatomy in all body planes demonstrating anatomy, anatomical relationships and ultrasonic characteristics of normal and abnormal.  Registration, or registry eligible, as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) is required.  You must also have a current CPR certification. We offer a variety of benefit options designed to provide personal security, convenience, and assistance to you and your family.
