The Saint Barnabas Health Care System is seeking an experienced Corporate Manager of Service Support. This position reports to the Director of Service Support


* Manage IT&S Systems Administration and Network Engineering resources in the following areas -

* Network Services - Cisco Core Infrastructure, routers, switches, VPN appliances

* Wintel Systems Administration - VMWare, Citrix, Dell & HP Hardware, Blade Systems

* UNIX Administration - HPUX V11

* Storage Resource Management - EMC, Compellent SANs, Brocade switches

* Messaging Administration - Microsoft Exchange, OWA, Fax servers, Zix Mail Encryption, Postini SPAM Blocking

* Database Administration - SQL V7.0 - 2008

* Responsible for Systems Administration operations and service levels for primary and backup Data Centers, including 24/7 technical staff accountable for maintenance and implementation of hardware/software for all platforms across the enterprise

* Responsible for the enterprise networking infrastructure in a primary Cisco environment

* Responsible for Problem Ticket Management System and reporting

* Responsible for Change Control management processes and production acceptance of all assets across the corporate data center infrastructure

* Oversees Asset Monitoring, Alerting and Escalation processes and toolsets

* Oversee and manage Problem Reporting, Escalation and Post Incident process Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate and work with multiple levels of management

* Manage Vendor support contract and relationships - Microsoft, Citrix, VMWare, EMC, Cisco, and other vendors

* Work closely with Service Delivery organization to transition and implement all new Infrastructure and applications for the health care system

* Work with Director and team members to continually improve Systems/Network Administration & Operations strategy, policies, procedures, and standards

* Manage a capital and expense budget across multiple service lines

* Provide system, environment and human resource reporting statistics required for capacity planning and service level assessments



Education/Training/Certification/Licensure:

Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields, or equivalent work experience.

A minimum of 5 years experience in Information Technology.

Skilled in customer relations, planning, organization and problem analysis and resolution.

Experience in healthcare field is a plus

Will be required to travel between the SBHCS affiliates as needed
