Day Shift and Evening Shift Our client a hospital in the Beverly area has a need for two ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGISTS position due to a department expansion. This is a well managed team with excellent opportunity for advancement and career growth. Their goal is to develop and maintain a local health care delivery system that serves the region with quality, efficiency and compassion. Under the administrative direction of the Ultrasound Supervisor, the Technologist performs ultrasound procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. This individual’s responsibilities include performing the following diagnostic ultrasound studies, Abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts. This person will work under the direction of a supportive Radiology Manager with a well established close knit team of professionals. Responsibilities also include insuring a patient’s comfort when positioning as required, documenting a complete patient history and maintaining statistical results for the purpose of quality improvement and other statistical reports. Requirements: Graduate of Ultrasound program or degree in Allied Health. Must be registry eligible or be registered by the ARDMS in either abdomen, small parts, OB to include high risk. GYN. A minimum of one to two years of experience. Three to Five years of experience strongly preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Job requires using computer, moving ultrasound equipment to perform echo studies, standing, walking, and bending.
