THERAPIST, OUTPATIENT SERVICES

Provides mental health/substance use disorder treatment through individual, group, couples and family therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families. Completes intake assessments that may include trauma impact assessment, developmental assessments, mental status and substance abuse assessments leading to the development of treatment plans and discharge dispositions. Provides case management when indicated to facilitate treatment. This may include coordinating with referring professionals, treatment team, quality improvement, utilization review and physicians to ensure appropriate care. Completes documentation as required by JCAHO and Inova Kellar Center. Meets minimum required billable sessions on an ongoing basis. Participates in staff meetings, group supervision and case presentation when indicated. Provides clinical supervision to non-licensed clinicians when indicated and appropriate. Maintains provider status with third party payors and ensures that CAQH applications remain current. Participates in the on-call schedule shared by all clinicians. Participates in activities integral to the maintenance and continued development of Inova Kellar Center.

Job Requirements:


2-3 years demonstrated post-licensure experience providing individual and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults. Must be currently on three (3) Managed Care Pannels.

 
Education Requirements


Masters Degree, Ed.D, Psy.D or Ph.D. in a Mental Health Discipline recognized by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse

Must hold a current license, LPC, LMFT, RNCS, LCSW or Licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide mental health treatment in the Commonwealth of Virginia
