Location: Chicago, IL 60601 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project, Employee Pay Rate: 90,000.00 - 110,000.00 USD /year Reference Code: 1001146174 We’re in search of an experienced Lead Systems Analyst to join our client for a contract to hire opportunity.  This position will transition into a permanent salaried role after 4-months.  The salary range can go up to $110K plus excellent benefits.  This company is located in downtown Chicago and is a leader in the healthcare insurance industry.  Job Description:  Lead/Manage the Systems Analyst teams Responsible for the design and development of IT systems Develops design and functional specifications, produces deliverables related to the project(s) assigned and assists in post implementation support and system enhancements Provide both order-of-magnitude and detailed estimates for software development activities and artifacts Develops and refines estimating models based on previous project actuals and trends to improve accuracy of estimates Gather system requirements for business services and user interfaces by close interaction with Business owners Deliver system use cases for services and user interfaces Deliver system models and detailed input to the software design process using UML Estimate effort and integrate delivery with other team members PARTICIPATE AND INITIATE JAD SESSIONS WITH BUSINESS ANALYST, BUSINESS AND TECHNICAL TEAMS DEVELOP FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS FROM BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS DEVELOP SYSTEM USE CASE MODEL AND SYTEM USE CASES USING ROSE AND WORD CREATE SUPPLEMETARY SPECIFICATION DOCUMENTS ACT AS LIASON BETWEEN BUSINESS, DEVELOPMENT AND PV TEAMS ENSURE THAT ALL REQUIREMENTS ARE DEVLOPED WITH QUALITY FACILIATATE UI DESIGNS FOR THE APPLICATION MANAGE REQUIREMENTS IN CLEAR QUEST AND ARTIFACTS IN REQPRO TAG ALL ARTIFACTS IN REQ PRO Required Experience/Skills:  Prior Management/Leadership responsibilities in a Systems Analysts team Requires significant experience and knowledge of the object paradigm (8 years) Requires significant knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML) (5 years) Requires significant experience in all phases of software development lifecycle (SDLC) particularly with the Rational Unified Process (5 years) Requires significant experience collecting and documenting system requirements particularly use cases (5 years) Requires exceptional inter-personal skills including group facilitation and presentation Requires modeling and documentation tool experience including IBM Rational Rose, Borland Together, IBM Rational RequisitePro, and Borland CaliberRM Apply today and discover what thousands of other technology professionals have—Technisource is the right choice to advance your career! Technisource, one of the largest technology services providers in North America, delivers a wide range of staffing, management services and technology solutions.
