System / Network Administrator
Apex Systems, Inc. is a technical staffing firm that assists companies and organizations with information technology staffing needs in every industry. Our client has excellent openings for System / Network Administrator. We are looking for someone with the following abilities:
· Systems Admin/ Network Engineer – sys admin with emphasis on the sys admin skills, but would like network skills as well (includes firewalls and load balancers
· Normal work hours ( 8-5, m-f )
· No travel ( if in emergency, to San Jose only )
· Will work from our Emeryville office (shuttle avail from BART to office, near CalTrain station )
· May have to answer blackberry alerts when “on-call” or in urgent situations
Requirements below:
Systems Admin / Network Engineer Level Position
Must know and have experience with:
+ Windows 2003 server (active directory, dns, file/print, dhcp, security, administration )
+ Veritas/Symantec BackupExec
+ Symantec Corporate AntiVirus
+ Cisco network switches/firewalls/routers (juniper a plus! )
+ F5 and/or Cisco load balancers
+ Network skills
+ Compaq/HP/Dell Server hardware knowledge
