JOB DETAILS: Scheduled hours per week: 40.00, Begin and end Times: 3-11PM MONDAY-FRIDAY, WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS, AND CALL; Days of work: monday-friday, some weekends SUMMARY: The Surgical Technologist prepares the room and gathers supplies needed for surgical procedures; delivers instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team intra operatively; may function as second assistant to the surgeon; assists in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies and instruments post operatively. REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist school. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Strong clinical knowledge of OR environment.
