Education Level: Certification Location: Tulsa, OK 74101 Status: Full Time, Employee Relevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Company: Saint Francis Reference Code: 769503 Supv, Cancer Data Services Job Details: Job Summary: The Supervisor of Cancer Data Services plans and manages the activities of the Cancer Data Services department for the purpose of collecting and reporting accurate cancer registry data in accordance with applicable accreditation, institutional, and federal guidelines.Education: Completion of a Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field.Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Designation as a Certified Tumor Registrar.Work Experience: Five years of experience in cancer registry.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of cancer registry practice, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of basic fiscal management and human resource management techniques and practices. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Working knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding. Working knowledge of tumor nomenclature. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access as might be required in the production of graphs and reports. Effective skill in abstracting and coding patient medical record information. Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Ability to be detail oriented as required in the examination of clinical and numerical data.
