Description:
Under the direction of the Oncology Services Director, this position is responsible for supervising the activities of the Cancer Data Center as defined by the Cancer Committee, the requirements of the American College of Surgeons and the California Cancer Registry; identifying reportable cancer cases; completing case abstracting; maintaining follow up on cancer data center cases; and organizing Tumor Board Conferences.
Requirements:
Requires a completion of tumor registry training program and Certified Tumor Registrar, and minimum of 5 years of recent experience in the tumor registry.
