Staff Development Educator (m) - Education
The Staff Development Educator at Southern Maine Medical Center (SMMC) is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of educational needs for the organization in support of the hospital's mission.
Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maine. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required; Master of Science Degree preferred. Analytical skills for addressing learning needs of hospital employees. Understanding of the adult learning principles Minimum of two years experience in clinical education including curriculum/program development. Ability to use audiovisual equipment including PowerPoint Presentations and LCD projectors. Experience in applying for continuing education credits for program. BLS instructor
