Job Skills/Requirements
This position will be responsible for development and maintenance of web related products as it pertains to benefit plan administration. The web developer will collaborate with product development, business owners and quality assurance staff to deliver software that meets expectations. This position will also be responsible for collaborating with service delivery unit to leverage technology to provide value added solutions, provide solution options and perform feasibility analysis.
Work with business owners to clearly define functional requirements and translate the functional/product requirements into technical specifications. For large projects, Must have the ability to prototype to allow for pre-development testing (usability reviews, user interaction).
Will follow-up with stakeholders (business owners, product development, user-acceptance, and SQA) to ensure release deliverables are met.
Will be responsible for developing Internet-based applications and services-design and authoring; site planning, building, and administration; and transferring data.
Will be responsible for converting existing web applications to .NET.
Will be a self starter and manage time productively and collaborate with other team members.
Will be responsible for troubleshooting production issues and providing short term and long term solutions to meet client expectations.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years Software Development Industry experience.
Minimum of 2 years working with web related applications using ASP.NET, C#, XML, XSL a must.
Minimum of 3 years working with SQL and experience writing complex database queries is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years working with VB6/COM is preferred.
Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.

All benefits are effective on the 29th day of employment with the exception of tuition reimbursement, which is effective after 90 days of employment.
