Intuitive Surgical, a leader in the medical device industry, is looking for a Sr. Tax Analyst to take full ownership of the income tax functions within our well-respected and rapidly growing company. In this highly visible role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the leaders of our organization while supporting federal, state and international tax compliance. You will have autonomy with absolute ownership of and responsibility for the quality of your own work. As our Sr. Tax Analyst, located at our Sunnyvale, CA office, your primary focus is to help gather information for Intuitive Surgical's income tax returns. A mind for details and research will allow you to untangle complex tax issues while meeting every deadline, and your in-depth knowledge of GAAP and application of FAS 109 will ensure that the year-end tax provision schedule is accurate and compliant. Your previous experience working at one of the big 4 accounting firms will help you make an immediate impact in this position as you review data and check accuracy of the information that is provided to you. Your success depends on your ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment, as this department has been known to move at the speed of light!
