Sr. Systems Software Spec. II
Job Description: Engineer desktop computers for use by over 5000 users throughout the Mount Sinai Hospital, including establishing standards, working with applications development to insure accessibility and availability and providing EUC group with builds/images and tools for their use. Design and test operating systems and software for use throughout Mount Sinai Hospital. Work closely with applications development group and server support group. Develop methods to keep users' software updated including applications such as virus control software. Create desktop builds/images for use by EUC group. Provide regular training and documentation to EUC on workstation configuration. Requirements:Minimum of 2 years' experience in workstation engineering including work with Microsoft operating system (DOS, 3.11, 95, 98, NT, 2000 and XP) and citrix. VB, WMI, WSH, and ADSI scripting experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
