Sr. Product Manager - Medical Products**
Description
The Senior Product Manager position (SPM) is responsible for providing leadership in the development of market strategies for TMP. The SPM will develop product-specific strategies and programs that support the TMP field sales team, our distributor customers and end-users. The SPM is also expected to significantly contribute to the development of long-term market strategy development and in the evaluation of new product opportunities, either organic or externally-derived. Additionally, the SPM is expected to provide coaching, mentorship and personal development for assigned direct reports and for the overall marketing organization. Specific but non-comprehensive examples include:
The implementation of end-user incentive programs
Execution of dealer and end-user promotions
Execution of new product launch planning
Implementation of field communications (both written and verbal)
Delivery of sales training presentations to TMP employees and our stakeholders
Creation of sales tools
Participation in field visits to distributors and end users.
Leadership during strategic plan, portfolio plan and marketing plan development processes
Will help resolve customer problems as needed
The SPM will also track the results of current marketing programs, and will manage the forecasting process for TMP products. The SPM should anticipate being asked to perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
6+ years of combined sales and marketing experience with distribution-driven products or medical-surgical products preferred.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required.
History of demonstrated leadership character required
History of creative problem-solving required
Demonstrable organizational skills required
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Powerpoint required; Strong Powerpoint skills and analytical software expertise preferred.
Educational Requirements
Bachelors' Degree required; MBA preferred
