This is a 4+ month consulting engagement with our client in the Nashville, Tennessee area. The Clinical Applications Development team develops internal clinical and physician software products and implements third party products across a wide range of technologies and on distributed and centralized platforms. This role requires a breadth of technical web and database skills in addition to strong analytic and personal skills. The solutions developed and supported will have strategic importance and visibility across the entire enterprise and will affect clinical and physician documentation of patient care. Job Requirements  1) Oracle 10g PL/SQL and package development 2) Experience with Advanced Oracle Queues 3) SQL Server T-SQL stored procedures4) Must be able to take the spec and start coding on Day 1  Position entails preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents these programs.  Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application analysis and design. May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project.  Regularly provides training and/or guidance to less experienced analyst/programmers. Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.  Candidate must also be familiar with Oracle Queues. Development skills in SQL Server, ColdFusion, and Flash preferred.  Candidate must be self-motivated and have a proven record of managing their own time and work.
