Sr. Manager B - Financial Analysis & Consulting

Location: Jacksonville, FL 32246 Job duties include but are not limited to the following: Job duties include but are not limited to the following: *Manage and provide technical leadership to financial reporting and forecasting team/unit *Establish operating policy for team *Make decisions that have short-term impact *Work through complexities associated with coordination across multiple areas, conflicting efforts and limited resources *Develop and champion efforts to achieve business unit objectives *Develop and implement programs, projects or processes for a tactical segment of a complex function or major programJob Requirements: *Bachelors degree in Math or Business discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, etc.) *6+ years experience working in a Finance or Accounting role *3+ years direct supervisory experience managing Finance/Accounting staff *Experience working in the health and/or life insurance industry and knowledge of related business processes *Demonstrated financial analysis experience *Experience working with GAAP accounting practices and theories *Understanding of capital adequacy tools and underlying theory *Experience working with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint *Strong verbal and written communication skillsBusiness Specific Criteria (preferred skills): *Masters degree in related discipline (e.g. MBA, MHA, Masters in Accounting) *Certified Public Accountant *Experience working with Hyperion reporting tools *Statutory accounting experience Please Click Here to ApplyIf you are interested in applying to this position, please click on the "Apply Now" link and follow these important steps: 1.  Log-in if you have an existing profile on the BCBSF website.
