(NASDAQ: HHGP), a $1.2 billion global company, is one of the world’s leading professional staffing, outsourcing and employment lifecycle solution providers.  We are looking for a Sr Lead QTP QA / Tester (QuickTest Pro Scripting / VBScript experience).  This is a 6 month+ consulting engagement (Possible Contract to Hire) with our client in the Nashville, Tennessee area. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE QA LEAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!! Job Description:This position is in the Billing and Collections Applications team for our client. The primary responsibility of the QA Analyst is to participate in Requirements/Design/Code reviews, develop test plans, test cases, automate tests, execute tests, track defects, identify risks, and communicate status to ensure that the team meets specified business requirements.  The QA Analyst is also expected to identify opportunities to improve the development and QA processes. The QA Analyst supports several products and projects and often works with personnel in other departments to complete assignments and is expected to become the functional expert on these products. Review requirements and design documents to ensure adequate understanding to develop test cases. Develop product based testing strategies Determine test environment and test data requirements Develop test plans and cases based on various levels of requirements details Estimate effort required to perform QA activities Document and elevate risks when appropriate Develop automated test cases based on value and return on investment Execute tests, track defects, and perform root cause analysis Mine for data, backend validation, and perform data quality analysis via SQL Provide recommendations to streamline and improve processes Mentor co-workers of the proper application of automated tests within a structured QA approach (QA Automation) Educate others outside of QA on the value of a structured QA approach Document status and final reports for QA activities Coordinate and communicate with IT resources across the US to complete assigned projectsRequired Skills:QA Automation - Additional Qualifications/Skills Required: Proficiency in developing scripts in QuickTest Pro Proficiency in Visual Basic or VBScript Proficiency in Quality Center workflow development and administration Ability to understand complex technical environments quickly Experience with HP LoadRunner is preferred Experience in C programming preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in structured QA practices Strong analytical skills Proficiency in requirements analysis and reviews Expert knowledge and skills in developing test plans and test cases Excellent documentation skills Well versed with various types of testing in various environments. Ability to interact with developers and understand technical design. Good understanding of database design and experience writing SQL queries.
