Key responsibilities: Querying and performing variance analysis on data Functioning as a financial claims systems subject matter expert (SME) on projects Prepare & support internal & external regulatory reporting requirements Perform research & analysis for financial systems projects Support the integration of financial systems for new acquisitions and some project/process improvement Provide support for the claims reserving team in the form of data pulls, lags and system maintenance.Requirements: A bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance Substantial analysis & Problem solving experience Comfort working with a broad range of technologies A background analyzing large amounts of data 1-3 years accounting/finance experience Preferred assets: A background in the healthcare industry A background in system integration or acquisition experience Audit Experience Experience working with projects SAS, SQL or Oracle experience Experience working with Peoplesoft Access, DB2 or other Database applicationsDiversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.
