SENIOR DIRECTOR, COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS - 539

 

Location:  Novation, Corporate Headquarters - Irving, TX

Job Summary: Position requires engagement and interaction with VHA, UHC, and Novation executive staff on pricing studies for member recruitment and retention. Position also responsible for goal development and measurement for price competitiveness and contract savings. Position requires exceptional customer service and analytical skills for interaction with members on supply cost management.

 

Responsibilities:

· Lead company pricing studies to recruit and retain members on behalf of VHA and UHC.

· Lead company efforts to validate competitiveness of contract portfolio versus other competitive group purchasing organizations.

· Lead company efforts to track savings on new contract launches, extensions, and interim price changes to reflect member budget impact.

· Lead company efforts on pricing studies for non-acute sites such as surgery centers and diagnostic imaging centers.

 

Qualifications:

· Prefer graduate degree or commensurate experience in healthcare supply purchasing.

· Minimum 4-5 years experience in healthcare supply cost management.

· Must have experience with Value Analysis.

· Experience with people and team management required.

· Must have experience in a hands-on management environment.

· Broad diversified knowledge of group purchasing contract portfolio.

· Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
