Clinical experience preferred in ICU, CCU or strong Med/Surg experience. Experience in ICD9 coding helpful, but not required. Duties Full-time, 40 hours a week position. Primary schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM.Organizational, analytical, writing and interpersonal skills. Dependable and self directed, critical thinking, problem solving and deductive reasoning skills. Knowledge of pathophysiology and disease processes. Basic computer skills, familiarity with Windows based software applications. Knowledge of revenue cycle and Medicare Part A and familiarity with Medicare Part B. Knowledge of regulatory environment, understand and support compliant documentation. Communication skills essential.
