Speech-Language Pathologist for Alternative Schools

 

Special Education Services (SES), an affiliate of The Menta Group® (www.thementagroup.org), operates schools for at-risk and behavior/emotional/developmentally disabled children living in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.  Small class size, intensive clinical services, and a competently trained staff of educators combine to make the SES schools positive and dynamic places to learn.  The emphasis at SES is placed on teamwork and creativity to provide this positive environment for our students to excel. 

 

We have an immediate opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy services for students coming into the school with a variety of speech and language disorders.  These positions offer an interesting and reasonably sized caseload, access to medical, dental, vision plans, 403(b), sick pay, holiday pay, and personal days.  The salary range is negotiable, depending upon experience and qualifications.

 

Requirements:

·  Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited university program.

·  Current Speech-Language Pathology license from the Illinois Department of Regulations (IDPR) or State of Illinois Certificate.

·  Clinical Competency Certification (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed.
