Spanish Bilingual Overnight Operations Center Representative
Virtual Radiologic Corporation (VRC) is a growing Minnesota company that provides top quality teleradiology services to practices, hospitals and imaging facilities nationwide. We are currently looking for an additional Night Operations Center Representative (OCR). OCRs are responsible for the coordination of images to be read by VRC doctors. This process requires monitoring incoming orders and images, matching orders and images, ensuring all necessary data has been included, data entry, identifying and trouble-shooting non-technical issues, and assisting doctors and technicians when additional information is needed or arranging conference calls.
To properly support these activities, a large volume of inbound and outbound phone calls will require professional, courteous, respectful, and timely communication.
Due to the nature of our business, OCRs must be good at multi-tasking, following procedure, following up, paying careful attention to detail, and managing relationships.
Work only 26 weeks per year, and still be eligible for benefits!
Shift/ Hours: A rotating schedule of 10 hour shifts 7days on/ 7 days off. Night shift hours begin between 6 PM – 11 PM.
Responsibilities Monitor and match patient images and orders. Verify image counts. Enter data of faxed orders. Verify that hospitals requesting service are covered at time of request. Perform outbound calls requesting missing images, orders, worksheets, or any missing or additional data or images, as requested by doctors. Take inbound calls. Coordinate conference calls for doctors. Identify and trouble-shoot issues and mismatched studies. Provide documentation of all study activity. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Two or more years' customer-related experience. Previous experience working late/overnight shift. Medical background a plus. Telephone etiquette skills essential. Professional, courteous, and respectful demeanor. Ability to multi-task. Extremely detail oriented. Strong organizational and prioritizing skills. Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently. Sensitivity to recognize and deal with urgent situations calmly and efficiently. Sound judgment and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in PC, Windows, Internet, and e-mail use.
