Harbor Medical Associates is a group of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and support staff dedicated to providing a broad spectrum of primary care services to patients in over ten South Shore communities. We are committed to the ideal that patient care comes first.

Harbor Medical Associates is an established and growing medical practice seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee one of its largest multi-specialty physician sites. The ideal candidate will balance strategic vision with day-to-day operations; will combine strong interpersonal skills with financial acumen, and be a team player with physicians and staff.



This position requires experience in pursuing operational improvements, customer service and growth. The individual will have administrative and fiscal oversight over the areas managed and will oversee several specialties. In addition, experience with transitioning paper files to electronic medical records is an asset.



The ideal manager in this position has a proven track record in the management of clinical operations in a multi-specialty group practice, including extensive knowledge of the private healthcare industry. Must be highly motivated, analytical, and demonstrate professionalism, teamwork and integrity. The successful manager will have proven skills in hiring, motivating, and building strong effective and efficient personnel teams which consistently define and deliver the highest quality of services to patients.



QUALIFICATIONS: At least five to seven years experience in medical practice management and Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (Master’s preferred). A history of increasing responsibilities, commitment, and professional growth required.



SUPERVISION EXERSISED: Requires the ability to work independently with minimal direction.



DIRECT REPORTS: Three practice coordinators, and a clinical supervisor. Areas of responsibility include over 50 employees.

Ability to work positively, constructively, and to find opportunities and solutions in challenging business situations.



Ability to remain focused on priorities.



Strong writing abilities.



Able to develop, propose, get approved, and implement new policies.
