The Healthcare business of Thomson Reuters provides insights -- information, benchmarks and analysis -- that enable organizations to manage costs, improve performance and enhance the quality of healthcare. ***Virtual, home based office. WA, OR, CO, MO locations preferred*** The purpose of the Solutions Support team is to provide expertise to field sales so they accurately represent Thomson Healthcare products and services to prospects and clients. The Solutions Executive will understand the current healthcare environment and have a comprehensive understanding of the implications of industry events on the Solution Suite they support. The Solutions Executives represent provider solutions from the Thomson Healthcare Micromedex, MercuryMD, Medstat, and Solucient expertise brands. The Solutions Support Team enables and assists the sales organization to describe and demonstrate the capabilities of those solutions to provider organizations across the country. This may be accomplished by participating in customer sales visits, providing sales training, or developing sales tools. Responsibilities: The Clinical Solutions Executive will be responsible for supporting sales efforts related to the Micromedex and MercuryMD products and services provided in that suite of solutions. Serve as a product and service expert and assist the sales team to develop new business opportunities, generate leads, maximize renewals, and minimize cancellations. Assist prospecting within existing customer base and target accounts. Utilize detailed understanding of the value proposition for a specified solution suite to assist sales team in presenting these solutions to customers. Analyze client needs and assist sales in developing strategies tailored to each organization. Provide product and service information to the sales team so they have the most current understanding of those solutions. Accompany reps on sales calls or individually conduct presentations and demonstrations as necessary. Utilize detailed knowledge of selected solutions to be available to answer complex or difficult questions on content or functionality. Deliver product training to sales so they can effectively describe our solutions. Provide regular feedback to product management, product development, and other functional teams. Represent the perspective of sales and serve as the voice of the customer on product usability issues, content and functionality requests. Quantify the requests in terms of customer feedback and opportunities lost/gained. Build and maintain relationships with customers and other functional groups within the company. Develop and maintain personal knowledge of the healthcare environment by participating in professional societies and other events that further your expertise. 4+ years experience of client-facing activities, with excellent presentation and selling skills. Advanced medical degree required. General familiarity with all Thomson Healthcare provider solutions. In-depth understanding of the Thomson Healthcare products suite that this position will support. Demonstrated ability to share knowledge of Thomson Healthcare solutions with others in a clear and concise manner. Self-motivated; able to work strategically; able to plan, prioritize and work with a complex schedule of events and activities. Ability to deliver presentations to internal and external groups Knowledge of the sales process, including the demonstrated ability to articulate features and benefits of Thomson Healthcare solutions.
