Software Developer (Developer II)

Resolution Health, Inc., a wholy-owned subsidiary of WellPoint (a Fortune 50 company), has an opportunity for a Software Developer in its Columbia, MD offices.  Resolution Health translates health information into personal health care guidance, connecting more knowledgeable patients with more informed doctors and care managers to improve the quality and cost effectiveness of health care for each individual.

This position will be a member of the Client Implementation team, participating in the design, developmentand maintenance of tools to load member health data for clinical analysis.  The Software Developer works with Client Management and clients to perform data discovery and configure and implement Resolution Health's ETL tool (Claims Gateway) to transform and load customer data into Resolution Health's analytic database.  Using SQL Server Transact-SQL, the Developer enhances and maintains the Claims Gateway program.  The Developer will perform data analysis using SQL and work with Operations staff to provide maintenance and support for Claims Gateway.

Job qualifications include:Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field 3 years experience using Microsoft SQL Server, SQL and Transact-SQL programming Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with multiple teams and clients Demonstrated focus on providing superior customer service to internal and external customers Demonstrated skills to manage time effectively including estimation of efforts needed to complete defined tasks on schedule
