Part of the Telecare family, Villa Fairmont in San Leandro, CA is a 99-bed Mental Health Rehabilitation Center. It serves adults who have a history of serious and persistent mental illness with repeated hospitalization. Villa’s major service goals are symptom stabilization, engagement in recovery, and a rapid return to the community.

 

As a Social Worker you will provide written psychosocial assessments, risk assessments, crisis intervention, referrals, and discharge planning to clients. This involves collaboration with your team members, as well as coordinating and collaborating with other services and County Mental Health referral sources. You will provide clinical leadership to Mental Health Workers, RNs and other staff members.

 

A Masters Degree in Social Work/MFT is required. MSW preferred and LCSW is a plus. Preferred qualifications are eligibility for licensure; 1-2 years experience in a mental health setting and, knowledge in recovery philosophy and psychiatric rehabilitation principles. You must be able to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and have a thorough understanding of patient rights. Criminal background clearance and education verification are required, and once hired CPR and First Aid Certification required.
