Skilled Therapist needed in our Hampton Office
The Institute for Family Centered Services (IFCS), a nationally recognized organization dedicated to strengthening and preserving families through innovative in-home counseling, seeks candidates for the position of Family Centered Specialist. This position is available in the following location: Hampton, Virginia.
Our family counselors serve families by providing in-home family counseling. Additional specialty areas of counseling may include comprehensive assessments, intensive case management, sex offender treatment, substance abuse treatment, and family support services. Primary responsibility is to provide the Family Centered Treatmentâ„¢; a model of Intensive In-Home Family Preservation Services.
Required skill/experience: Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field and experience working with youth and families required. Candidates must have the ability to work independently, prioritize appointment schedules and have reliable transportation. Good verbal and written skills required.
Preferred skill/experience: Masters Degree preferred. Knowledge of family systems, and experience with at-risk youths are strongly preferred skills/experience.
Additional compensation if Bilingual in Spanish
License – Eligible supervision offered for those candidates seeking Licensure.
