Shift Supervisor for Patient Transportation - Kansas City, KS

As the Shift Supervisor of Patient Transportation you will provide leadership and direction for the patient transportation staff and assist in ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures related to Central Transportation Service at a large acute care hospital. You will make visits to departments and nursing units on a daily basis to ensure patient escorts are performing to standard; address concerns promptly; make job assignments and maintain a clean and safe environment. Requirements:• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. • Minimum 2 years Transportation experience desirable. Prior Healthcare experience preferred. • Ability to manage in a diverse environment, under a variety of conditions and constraints, with complete focus on client and customer services. • A self-starter, capable of leading, directing, monitoring and supporting a team/staff, with minimal supervision, while organizing and prioritizing their workload. • Strong organizational skills, effective time management and prioritizing skills to meet critical deadlines on tasks, commitments, and reporting Shift Hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 5am to 2pm
