Job Description:


The Senior Web Manager will hold primary responsibility for overseeing the multiple websites of the Caritas Christi Health Care system.  Working with senior management, physicians across the system, and communications officers at six member hospitals and five affiliated organizations, the senior web manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of website maintenance and development.  He/she will provide strategic advice and direction to maximize the usefulness of the system websites.  He/she will initiate and oversee the use such web-based formats as blogging, podcating, vodcasting, and other broadband media.  The senior web manager will manage the introduction of unique urls and landing pages and create new portals as necessary.  This person will develop and integrate new content and edit existing content to ensure web copy is clear, well organized, accurate, and consistent across the site.  He/she will track and analyze usage to measure effectiveness of web strategy and make recommendations for enhancement.  He/she will be the main liaison with web vendors, Greystone, Staywell Communications, Photobooks, and others.

 

Qualifications

 

·  Bachelor's degree in communications, information systems, or related field, Master's preferred.

·  5+ years of experience in a similar position.

·  Extensive experience with website management.

·  Understanding and up-to-date knowledge of Internet technology and opportunities.

·  Experience with online content management systems.

·  Solid knowledge HTML, CSS and Javascript preferred.

·  Demonstrated management experience.
