Senior Unix System Administrator

Sr. Unix System AdministratorPosition RequirementsFormal Education & Certification * College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 6 years equivalent work experience. * Certifications in UNIX Systems Administration (or equivalent) and certification on the current network operating system.Knowledge & Experience * Specific knowledge of SUN Solaris 10, Linux RedHat Enterprise 3 and above platform(s) required. * Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Unix servers, networks, and clusters designed to support web based applications. * Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience. * Working technical knowledge of coding using Perl, CGI, C, shell scripting, and other programming languages. * Good technical knowledge of current network hardware and standards, including EMC SAN or other flavors of SAN. * Experience working with VMWare, Apache, and Tomcat required. * Experience working with Oracle 10g and its connectivity with other applications a plusQualified candidates please email full resume to lynn@recruitergurus.com MRINetwork, one of the world's largest search and recruitment organizations, has over 1,000 offices in more than 35 countries.
