Senior Technical Support Specialist

Coastal Administrative Services, located in Atlanta, GA (Perimeter area) has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Technical Support Specialist. Requirements Minimum 1-2 years employment as a Helpdesk Support and Break/fix Technician4-year degree required A+  or MCP certification a plus

 Duties

 Provide help desk, trouble shooting, problem solving computer support to local and remote users in various Microsoft OS environments Installing and supporting wireless broadband cards in remote user laptopsInstalling and supporting VPN software and connectivity on remote user laptopsAssist with the planning for the department and IT throughout the companyConfigure Windows 2003 servers and Win 2000/XP workstationsProvide technical support and upgrades for assigned nursing home LANs including email, Simple LTC, RFMS, AHT  and other industry related softwareTrouble shooting local and remote network hardware, including printers, workstations,  servers and network connections

 Skills needed

 Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and how to use this information to traverse our network.Strong knowledge of MS Operating Systems and MS Office and general Microsoft softwareExperience working in Active Directory Working knowledge of dial-up technology over 56k analog lines combined with modem sharingExcellent telephone skillsAbility to communicate with various skill-level end usersMust be willing to change priorities frequently and rapidlyAble to learn and adapt new skills as work requirements demandAbility to lift awkward equipment weighing up to 50 pounds

Travel:  Minimal; need credit card to pay for reimbursable expenses

Hours:  Semi-flexible days, M-F
