Position Title:  Sr. System Analyst -Clinical

Position Location:  Yonkers, NY

 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

A challenging and growth oriented opportunity for a Systems Analyst to be a part of the Clinical Information Systems Ancillary team. This analyst will be a point person on the implemetation of a Mammography Reporting System, as well as planning, implementing and supporting new applications for the ancillary department.  He/she will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting and tailoring the vendor application. Optimization of the clinical applications as they apply to the users is the ultimate goal.  In supporting the environment the Analyst will also be doing report design with Crystal Reports and creating database queries.  This analyst will have the opportunity to learn, maintain, and eventually design HL7 interfaces.

 

The analyst will be responsible for working with the client and other Emerging Health Information Technology technical associates, understanding interface requirements, reading specs and translating requirements into specifications, developing and maintaining needed interfaces, as well as installing and upgrading application software. The ability to learn, understand and tailor various vendor applications a must.  Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Requirements:

 Experience with client/server software and hardware installations and implementationsExperience with system upgrades; unit and integrated testing; interface and data conversions.Responsible for ongoing systems maintenance and support.Moderate to extensive knowledge of report writing development and support (Analyze, Design and Create).  SQL or Crystal Reports are a plusModerate to extensive maintenance and documentation of software application solutions with respect to client interfacesExperience with Windows client/server environmentDesigns, codes, test and implements programs.Experience or skills as a software developer or programmer are a plusExperience with DICOM, HL/7 and Modality Worklist are big plussesClinical and or Technical Mammography background a plusStrong technical, customer service and communication skillsExperience in a high volume environment Perform problem analysis and resolution in conjunction with associates, clients or vendors.Strong organizational, communication, documentation and team member skills.Ability to work under pressure, independently or in a group.Willingness to adapt and to learn new skills. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field prefered.
