Senior Revenue Systems Analyst
Relevant Work Experience:: 5+ to 7 Years Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Description:The Finance Revenue Systems Analysis Department is responsible for the providing day-to-day business analysis support on the revenue systems. The department works closely with users and act as a liaison between Registration, Admitting, Charge Capture, Patient Accounts, other Finance Departments and IS. The Senior Revenue Systems Analyst position will have a background as a Business Analyst with experience writing detailed business requirements, working with a development team to continually articulate requirements on behalf of the business and troubleshooting production issues including new products, applications, data requirements and reports. He or she will act as a liaison between the business areas, and IS. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: workflow development, business requirement definition, functional specification development, test plan development and execution, and the management of small to midsized projects.Qualifications:Has an understanding of revenue cycle processes including insurance verification, referral management, charge processing, billing, remittance processing and denial management. Has a solid understanding of hospital and billing systems.Superior analytic and problem solving skills. Able to work well at both a data detail level, as well as a strategic thinking level. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
