Primary Responsibilities:Evaluate business requirements and prepare detailed technical specifications that follow project guidelines to ensure development staff code to specifications. Conduct analysis of alternatives, recommendations and data mapping. Assist in formulating and defining systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Creation of test plans to test, debug, and document those programs. Work closely with development staff to remedy all issues identified during testing. Demonstrate leadership by coordinating the requirements, specifications, and design and testing efforts for small to large projects. Analyze existing system logic difficulties, document and work with development staff to resolve. Generate innovative ideas to resolve problems. Completion phase of the project to ensure success. Assist in training junior level personnel in technical complexities of assigned work. Provide support for break/fix issues related to internally developed applications and reports through trouble-shooting, problem analysis and working with the appropriate staff to resolve issues through testing and feedback. Qualifications: Requirements: Applications systems analysis experience - 1-3 yrs SDLC experience - 1-3 yrs Writing business and technical requirements - 1-3 yrs Testing web applications experience - 1+ yrs Business process mapping workflows experience - 1+ yrs MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Visio and Project)-Proficient Bachelors degree Assets: SQL experience Automated testing tools experience Project management experience Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.
