Senior Human Resources Generalist ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT The Human Resources organization is charged with ensuring that Express Scripts effectively manages and supports its human capital investment. Key day-to-day responsibilities include supporting human resources needs, including staffing, policy development and employee relations; driving improvements in employee satisfaction and diversity awareness; providing training and organizational development; and overseeing benefit and compensation plans. RESPONSIBILITIES Located at our Byfield, MA facility (Essex County), this position will lead the planning and delivery of various HR programs and services to a designated business unit. Provide coaching and counseling to leadership on all aspects of HR policies and procedures, employee relations issues, staffing and employment, performance management, and training development and facilitation. The successful candidate must be able to develop strong partnerships and implement innovative organizational/people solutions that directly impact business results. May have supervisory responsibility. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent relevant work experience; Master's degree preferred Human Resource certification a plus (i.e., SPHR, PHR) 5-7 years relevant Human Resources generalist experience; including, but not limited to employee relations, policy issues, training development, design and facilitation Strategic business acumen and ability to provide innovative solutions Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and time management skills Thorough working knowledge of current employment law regulations, worker's compensation, ADA, EEOC, and FMLA is necessary Demonstrated analytical skills Ability to prioritize workload and meet competing project deadlines Ability to maintain confidentiality is critical Proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel) EEO STATEMENT Express Scripts is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and will not discriminate against or harass any applicant or employee on any grounds prohibited under any federal, state or local law, including race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, marital status or membership in any other legally protected class.
