Senior Dietitian

Job Description: Primary Purpose: As an integral part of the team, the Nutritionist is responsible for activities that support patient-focussed care including providing nutritional care, patient nutritional assessment, and providing nutrition education and information to patients and their families. Job Duties: * Coordinate and deliver established nutrition education training programs to adolescents with an emphasis on eating disorders, weight management, body-image, and illness-related nutritional issues.* Conduct anthrometric evaluations such as body fat measurements using skin-fold calipers* Participate in related research projects. Job Qualifications: Education: Registered Dietician (RD) required, preferably with a Master's degree in Nutrition Experience: One year experience in nutrition services.Other: * Excellent interpersonal skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team* Analytical abilities necessary to assess patient nutrition status, to plan a suitable diet, evaluate patients' compliance with diet intervention and to create effective strategic plans and initiatives * Experience working with adolescents a plus
