Senior Development Officer Major Gifts for Large Health Network

JPS Health Network continues to serve the needs of the families in Tarrant County, working to improve health status and access to health care. The facilities at 1500 South Main have grown to a hospital licensed for 567 beds along with a freestanding outpatient care center and a dedicated facility for psychiatric services. The new patient tower across from John Peter Smith Hospital and our new hospital in Arlington take us into our next era.

 

Description:  JPS Health Network is seeking an experienced full time Senior Development Officer - Major Gifts for our Fund Development department.  Under the supervision of the executive director with accountability to the managing partner, the Senior Development Officer - Major Gifts is responsible for seeking out individual and other major gift prospects, securing these gifts, and promoting the activities of Partners Together For Health and those it conducts on behalf of JPS Health Network to appropriate constituents and target audiences.

 

Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing Fund Development or a related field and a minimum of five years experience in fund development, journalism, public relations or marketing are required.  Fundraising for major gifts experience of three years required.  Familiarity with standard Microsoft software products.  Familiarity with Raiser's Edge software a plus.  Ability to conduct donor research, compile and analyze data essential.
