Secretary Job Description and Responsibilities:

1. Philosophy

a) Supports the company’s ideology, mission, goals, and objectives

b) Performs in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures

2. Communication

a) Communicates effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers

b) Interacts with others in a positive, respectful, and considerate manner

3. Financial practices

a) Uses company resources appropriately and avoids wasteful practices

b) Reports wasteful practices

c) Analyzes work area and makes recommendations for potential cost-effective improvements

4. Compliance program

a) Contributes to the progress and development of the organization’s adopted compliance program

b) Performs according to established compliance policies and procedures

6. Safety/risk-management program

8.   Duties

a) Serves as telephone operator for company; routes incoming calls correctly and takes accurate messages when unable to connect caller to requested party

b) Receives and distributes all mail, faxes and special deliveries

c) Filing, creating files and managing files

d) Ensure proper completion of paperwork from centers and marketing team

e) Oversees all inventory of all centers and completes monthly inventory reports in Great Planes

f)  Oversees all PO’s in Great Planes which have not be received or posted

g) Oversees all employees in Time Clocks attendance program

h) Monitors the EOBs and checks received from Center to receipt in Corporate office

i)  Helps with the direct deposit of all checks thru Bank of America Systems

j)  Helps the marketing team with sending out marketing folders and items to centers

k) Performs other miscellaneous office/clerical duties as needed
