 American Red Cross Blood ServicesNorthern California RegionEvery two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood!!!You can help by joining a fast-paced, hard working group of caring individuals as a Sales Assistant  This position is a part of our Donor Recruitment Development Department (Blood Drives Development) and will function as an important member of of that team.The position is responsible for (but not limited to):  · Functioning as a liaison between donor groups and donor services   by confirming all information regarding blood drives with customers   and communicating details to department staff.· Preparing and maintaining all account files.· Ordering postcards, printouts and other reports as necessary.  · Handling layout and preparation of artwork for promotional pieces  ordered by customers.  · Mail confirmation to blood drive coordinators on a predetermined basis.Join our team and become a part of a well renowned and respected organization that provides products that saves lives every day!  Together, we can save a life!Qualifications:Associate’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent work experience required.  Minimum of two years experience in office setting with extensive customer contact necessary. Must have above average skills in Word, Excel, and Access.  Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required.  May require occasional travel to blood drives in Bay Area.   The American Red Cross offers excellent advancement opportunities.
