SQL Database Specialist

Major Responsibilities:Under supervision of the Decision Support Manager, the SQL Database Specialist is responsible for direct user assistance regarding IEHP databases, and providing technical leadership and training.  Other responsibilities include configuration and maintenance of database structures, data elements, and interfaces between both internal and external systems.Experience:The following experience may be concurrent, preferably in a health care setting:  Two years in database development, including analysis and design, using Microsoft Access or similar PC based relational database application.  One year in database administration and development, using Microsoft SQL Server or similar relational database application.  One year programming with Structured Query Language (SQL). Knowledge/Skills Required: Techniques of relational database analysis, design, and implementation, including database management techniques, principles and practices of project control, ability to resolve customer issues, understanding of server roles, experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and client/server principles and techniques.  Familiarity with Microsoft Reporting Services preferred.Bachelor's degree required.At IEHP, we offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.   Please apply online, by email, or FAX your resume, indicating position to: INLAND EMPIRE HEALTH PLANSan Bernardino, CAFAX (909) 890-2929www.iehp.orgEOE
