SQL Data Analyst

Centene Corporation is a leading multi-line healthcare enterprise that provides managed-care programs and related services to individuals receiving benefits under Medicaid, including Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP).Position Purpose: Interpret and link business needs and objectives in application development and support activities. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system; confer with personnel of organization units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is summarized, and formats for reports. Manage ad hoc and regular report deliverables. Provide analysis/feedback of key metrics to organization/managementKnowledge/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent. 4-6 years of related experience and 1-2 years of SQL experience.License/Certificates: N/APosition Responsibilities:Design, develop, test and implement new reports utilizing SQL.Design, develop and maintain data warehouse.Prepare ad hoc reports for management or internal customers upon request. Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports for management, internal customers and external customers.Track and trend data while ensuring integrity. Diagnose problems and find solutions to meet user requirements.Act as a liaison for the teams reporting needs including the collaboration with IS, corporate and health plans.Communicate data trends with management, clients and employees. Coordinate with staff and users to identify requirements for development projects and support activities.4 or more years of expericence
