Risk Management Nurse

Imagine Yourself:

Managing, facilitating and coordinating risk management and quality initiatives within the Burlington market.

Partnering with administration, providers and staff to create a safe and patient-focused environment

Functions as a patient, family, and visitor intermediator when dissatisfaction with services has been expressed.

Reviews all incident reports for clarity and completeness. Codes incidents for statistical analysis. Works with other departments to identify potential liability and takes corrective measures to reduce liability.

Analyzes trended data for significance of changes in volume of incidents, equipment problems, and complaints. Proposes plans for corrective measures.


In collaboration with the Quality Consult, determines and performs appropriate follow-up to administration, managers, leadership.

General Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
