Position Title: Resource Consultant

 

Reporting Relationship:  Clinical Operations Supervisor, Jennifer McCraw

 

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field

 

Experience:  Customer service and support, resource linkage, and motivational client interviewing Summary

Receives calls in call center setting, and assists clients who are in need of resources, such as housing, utilities, medical, etc. and direct students to the proper resources. Provide supportive listening, life management skill development and coaching to students. Provide back-up support to the Clinical department as needed.

 

ResponsibilitiesSupports call center clinicians by taking or warm transferring from clients/clinicians and providing supportive listening, motivational interviewing and resources to callers. Researches unusual or unique requests for resources for clinical staff or by direct caller. Reviews resources to ensure they are effective and meet client needs. Follows-up and maintains tracking measures on all resource calls. Uses system to monitor follow-up calls to all clients. Contributes to ongoing improvement processes of clinical operations. Uses Microsoft Applications and Internet research to complete data base tasks and organize resources.
