The Cooperative for Human Services, Inc. is a multi-service organization that provides residential services, independent living supports, and guardianship services for people with mental retardation and other related developmental disabilities.  Our administrative office is located in Burlington, MA and our service delivery area includes the communities throughout greater Boston, north and west of the city.  Founded in 1981, the organization possesses a long-standing, demonstrated history of providing progressive, person-centered services and supports for people with disabilities with a passion for what’s possible.

 

Through our Residential Services, we operate 24-hour community residences and provide other program designs and models including specialized home care, live-in arrangements, and independent supports.

Position Title:             Residential House Manager

 

Reports to:                 Division Manager

 

Supervises:               Assigned Assistant Program Director & all Direct Support Workers.

 

Job Location:          Position based at Program Location: Reading, Winchester or Malden                          

 

Work Schedule:      Flexible, full time, with 24 hr on-call responsibilities

 

Job Summary Fulltime residential management position Provides leadership, direction & supervision to assigned direct reports Provides direct support to the individuals served Directly oversees & coordinates all aspects of the residential home serving 4 individuals (case management, ISP planning, healthcare, clinical, behavioral supports, etc) Administrative responsibilities include scheduling, training, reporting, program development, etc. Ensures agency, DMR & national service standards are achieved Performs regular quality assurance functions including auditing & monitoring functions Provides 24-hr on-call to assigned program

 

 

Qualifications: Personal Commitment to Service Quality & Excellence Proven Leadership Skills Knowledge of the service system for people with mental retardation Able to work flexibly to meet individual/programmatic needs Minimum 2 years of relevant experience   BA in related field required, may be substituted for relevant work experience Valid Massachusetts's Driver's License & vehicle
