Residential Coordinator
Definition: This position will supervise Mental Health Worker as assigned. Will report to Program Supervisor  The Residential Program Coordinator is required to have an annual written evaluation, which is arranged by the immediate supervisor.

Responsibilities and Duties:
 Responsible to foster and maintain a therapeutic atmosphere for the children in the living unit, through consistency, positive role modeling, and nurturing. Responsible for fully comprehending the child's Comprehensive Treatment Plan, to actively assist the child in reaching their planned goals and objectives, and to provide all supporting documentation in the client record. Responsible in the planning of participating of activities with other Residential Treatment Facility Workers and the children to assure that they are beneficial to their overall development. Assigns shift duties for Mental Health Worker on assigned floor. Assists Program Supervisor in ensuring proper staffing schedules are maintained on assigned floor. Responsible to assure that the wake up, morning, daytime and bedtime routines occur with consistency. Responsible to work with children and their families on supervised home visits and/or transport children as outlined in the Comprehensive Treatment Plan. Responsible for the implementation of the recreational and living skills program. Responsible for daily documentation of children's progress on all required charting forms. Responsible to attend all scheduled In-Service training. Responsible to submit and maintain food and housekeeping inventory
 Responsible to schedule appropriate staff-client ratio for assigned floor. Assumes MHW duties as necessary. Prepare weekly menu, activities schedule and submit to Program Supervisor Responsible for attendance, participation in, and possible presentation of all staff growth and development training requirements. Must complete initial 30hrs. of training as per 3800 regulations within first 120 days of employment. 40 hours annual training required per 3800 regulations. Responsible to maintain knowledge of MA bulletins and 3800 Regulations
 Handles conflict resolutions and anger management during assigned shifts and with assigned residents. Performs other related work as requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 Associates degree and minimum of one year working in a residential setting and mental health services in a CASSP system program. Knowledge of professional casework principles, practices and methodology as well as the demonstrated capacity to further develops it.
 Considerable knowledge of individual and group behavior and interrelationships between social, economic, psychological and physiological factors.
 Good knowledge of application and principles Sanctuary Model
 Ability to plan and integrate all clinical services received by an adolescent placed in the program in coordination with MHP.
 Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with those receiving program services, as well as with professional colleagues and the general public.
 Ability to work effectively with people and enable them to grow in constructive utilization of their individual capabilities.
 Ability to analyze, interpret and evaluate case records, make recommendations, and assist in the formulate of treatment/service plans and goals.
 Ability to make clear and pertinent statements both orally and in writing.
 Must have the ability to perform safe crisis management which includes therapeutic holding of children in the care of organization.
