Research Scientist - Immunotherapy
Job Description Imagine yourself...
Independently designing and supervising technical staff to conduct experiments.
Analyzing and summarizing data, and reporting the findings to the program and medical director.
Designing and conducting complex research protocols in area of expertise.
Independently interpreting, planing, designing, executing and coordinating research protocols.
Developing and monitoring adherence to research protocols.
Conducting and/or reviewing various phases of research projects and ensuring timelines are met.
General Qualifications
Knowledge of human immunology, equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regionally accredited doctoral (PhD) degree program.
Minimum of three years post-graduate research experience in performing human immunology research or other appropriate field.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in a wide variety of human immunology techniques including cell culture, flow cytometry and/or immunoassay highly desirable.
Understanding of various computer systems and databases.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experienced in developing and delivering presentations, reports, and business correspondence.
Minimum of three first, or senior, author publications.
Ability to interact on a scientific level with medical staff, community physicians, and representatives of national pharmaceutical and/or governmental research funding groups.
Demonstrated effective organizational and time management skills, professional communications, and conflict resolution skills.
Knowledge of scientific methodologies, procedures, and basic experimental theories/applications.
Strong critical/analytic thinking.
