Release Management Analyst
Our client located near Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a Release Management Analyst to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity to start ASAP... client is also open to contract to hire candidates....Overview:Implement changes to IT services taking a holistic (people, process, technology) view which considers all aspects of a change including planning, designing, building, testing, training, communications and deployment activities.Responsibilities:• Support the development of Enterprise level ITIL aligned Release Management processes and SOPs. • Develop training materials and deploy training on new Enterprise Release Management processes. • Support the IT department in the use of change management and control tools and procedures. • Facilitate and manage Post-Change Implementation Reviews. • Assist in Identify and Develop metrics to track Release Management progress and processes. • Ensure close coordination with Change and Configuration Management teams. • Resolve scheduling issues. • Utilize strong influencing skills to successfully guide others toward change management goals. Qualifications:• BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, or related field is required. • Experience with developing, implementing and measuring success of processes and procedures based on ITIL best practices. • 2 years experience in a computer problem analysis, improvement, or process re-engineering role. • Demonstrated skills identifying and resolving computer systems related inefficiencies. • Highly effective people relationship skills with an emphasis on conflict resolution and facilitation. • Knowledge of ITIL processes is recommended and is a large plus.
